This is one of those vases you see... and then have to look at again.

The deep green hues flow into dark, almost metallic nuances, topped by that typical iridescent play – a subtle rainbow that lights up when the light glides across it. As if the surface carries a thin layer of oil, living and constantly moving. It makes this ceramic object not only beautiful but also intriguing.
Its form reinforces that feeling: the double open handles give it something powerful and almost architectural – very typical of the Art Deco period. For Jean-Pierre, the pleasure lies in the technique and the character of the glaze. Annette especially feels the depth and tranquility of the colors. And Babette? She immediately sees a statement piece with a will of its own.
