Dimensions: 16 × 16 × 50 cm – In very good condition
This impressive, monumental Flemish pottery vase dates from the early 20th century and bears the marking GG3 at the bottom, a signature associated with early 20th-century Flemish ceramic workshops where artisanal glazing techniques were central.
The vase immediately stands out for its rich, vertically graduating glaze colors : deep midnight blue hues blend harmoniously into warm greenish-yellow nuances, finally settling into a soft brownish-red base. The characteristic glaze drips and subtle crackle are characteristic of Flemish Art Nouveau and interwar pottery production, making each vase a unique work of art.
With its elegant, narrow neck and tall, slender shape, this vase is a real eye-catcher, ideal for instantly adding character and authenticity to any interior. Thanks to the high-quality earthenware and the exceptionally well-preserved glaze, the piece is in excellent condition – exceptional for an object over a hundred years old.
At De Tuin Der Kunsten, we strive to combine harmony and authenticity in affordable art and decoration. This large Flemish vase is a beautiful example: a decorative object with soul, history, and a warm aesthetic that fits effortlessly into both classic and contemporary interiors.
A unique piece of heritage that exudes class and tranquility – perfect for those who love to bring a story into their home.
